Windows PowerShell a command line shell and task-based scripting technology developed by Microsoft. This article describes how to install Windows PowerShell in Windows Server 2008.

1. Click Start and click Server Manager.

2. In Server Manager, click Features.

3. In the Features page, click Add Features.

4. In Select Features, check Windows PowerShell.

5. In Confirm Installation Selections, click Install.

6. Finally, click Close.
